1.0: CLASSIFICATION OF LIVING THINGS

In this topic, students learn how living organisms are grouped based on their similarities and differences. The topic includes classification levels such as kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, and species. You will also study the criteria used in classification and the importance of classifying living things in everyday life.

2.0: MOVEMENT AND LOCOMOTION

This topic teaches how plants and animals are able to move from one place to another. For animals, you will learn different types of locomotion such as walking, jumping, swimming, and crawling. You will also understand how bones and muscles work together to support movement. In plants, you will study specific movements such as tropism and nastic movements.

4.0: EXCRETION

This is an important topic that teaches how living organisms remove waste products from their bodies. You will learn about excretory organs such as the kidneys, lungs, skin, and liver.
